White Bird Idaho is a great place for horse trail rides overlooking the Camas Prairie, the Gospel Hump Wilderness area and the Salmon River Valley. Ride through historic grounds and listen to outfitters tell the story of the Nez Perce Indian War from 1877 while tracing the steps of Chief White Bird and Chief Joseph. On full day rides outfitters will arrange a BBQ or a picnic lunch with breathtaking views of the canyon below. Half day trips and full day trips are available.
