Joe Wilson St. Paddy’s Sausage Feed 2020

WHITE BIRD, ID – Sunday March 15

Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in White Bird at the 13th Annual Joe Wilson St. Paddy’s White Bird Sausage Feed.  It’s held at the beautiful, old IOOF Hall in downtown White Bird from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy this annual, community event!!!  The Rebekah IOOF Hall is decorated for St. Patrick’s Day .  The Old Time Fiddlers will perform throughout the morning.

Breakfast is served “buffet style”…sausage, eggs, pancakes, hot coffee and orange juice.  The delicious, fresh sausage is prepared by Mt. View Meats in Riggins.  That tasty sausage will also be available for purchase to take home and enjoy later.

In memory of Joe & Ada Wilson, this event raises money which we gladly donate a portion to various community organizations with small operating budgets & that provide key volunteer or charitable services to the White Bird community, such as the EMTs, the Rebekahs, the Library, the Art Guild, the American Legion Post #152, and more.

Prices include tax:  Adults, $8; Youngsters, $4 (5 and under); 3# Chubs, $13 each

How did it all start???

Long-time resident Joe Wilson (now deceased) was always impressed with the Clearwater Sausage Feed and thought a similar event would be a nice addition to White Bird.   So, we went to the Clearwater Sausage Feed to learn how it was done.  Our breakfast is traditionally the Sunday before St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th).  This has turned out to be a very popular event for folks all around the White Bird area.  Come and join us, won’t you?  You’ll be glad you did!  Good food and great company.  Joe will join us in spirit.
