Proud to Live in White Bird

Clean Up Paint Up Fix Up

Put on your work clothes and come on down to City Hall to help paint.  More volunteers are needed.  This is the first in a series of plans (as outlined below) to improve our town.  Won’t you join in?

(From the City Council).

The White Bird City Hall will be painted on September 12th at 7:00 am by volunteers from the American Legion Post 152.  The paint has been donated by Sherwin Williams in Lewiston, and we would like the community to come and support this project with volunteers and additional donations.  The City of White Bird would like to start with this building to bring the “Proud to Live in White Bird” theme to our town, with the start of some strong excitement and enthusiasm towards how our little town looks forward to its future.

City of White Bird Future Plans:

►  Put up a flag pole
►  Install an emergency siren system
►  Expand the meeting room/office into the next firehouse bay
►  Handicap accessible bathroom
►  Expand the fire house to cover trucks and emergency equipment
►  New meter reading system with correct utility billing
►  Update the sewer system (project starting soon, 9/12/2016)
►  Re-energize the fire department with volunteers and emergency preparedness training.  Please call Bryan Lowe, 839.2444, or Rob Beeson, 839.2755, to help with the fire department.
